My Name is Fred L Rios Jr, and I’m the Founder of The Glass Onion Band, from the Sarasota-Bradenton area. We started the band back in 2008, with the idea of performing The music of The Beatles as close to the actual recordings and albums, and performing the music live on stage. I grew to love the Music of The Beatles from a father that Idolized them as a kid and witnessed them change the World on the Ed Sullivan Show in NY in 1964. I’ve been a musician from the age of 12, started in the school orchestra in middle school and all the way through high school. At the same time I began playing guitar, Bass, and piano. I enjoy many types of music, and I’m very pleased and passionate about keeping The Glass Onion Band performing  for our fans and new fans, and for the people that enjoy listening to the Greatest Music of All Time!

Thank you, Fred L Rios Jr.

My first experience with the Beatles was on the Ed Sullivan Show and I was hooked. We had 45 rpms in the house thanks to my older brothers and would listen and sing to them over & over. When I was in high school we performed a Beatle concert with some friends in the auditorium and the place went nuts! I have been playing and learning their huge catalog of songs ever since and love playing with the rest of the Glass Onion Band. I can honestly say we reproduce the music and vocals of that time in perfect harmony.

Carlos Limon as john lennon

Standing at 6'6" tall, Carlos Limon is quite possibly the world's largest John Lennon. He hails from Mexico, where once upon a time he was a member of the Beatles tribute band Martha. Carlos's love for the Beatles started at an early age when, by sheer coincidence, he discovered a frightened and emaciated Pete Best living in his basement. This gave Carlos the opportunity to share in a true Beatles experience, as he was forced to kick Pete out.
